MONICA GILMORE-LOVE

Monica Gilmore-Love is the owner of Gilmore Consulting, LLC and is a 20-year veteran of the environmental industry. She has worked on numerous complex and interesting engineering projects including post-Hurricane Katrina environmental assessments in New Orleans, LA to cell tower developments throughout Mississippi, Louisiana, and Arkansas. She is a due diligence expert having completed numerous environmental site assessments throughout Mississippi, Louisiana, Arkansas and Texas and is skilled at navigating through the environmental review process associated with federal funding requirements of the United States’ Department of Housing and Urban Development and Department of Agriculture Rural Development Communities Facilities Relending Program. She has worked with both municipal, corporate and tribal organizations as well as small to large retail companies.

Previously, Ms. Gilmore-Love worked for a national environmental consulting firm where she managed projects for clients such as WalMart, Dollar General, Family Dollar, Chick-fil-A, Walgreens and CVS Pharmacies on new and existing retail and commercial property developments throughout Mississippi and Louisiana.

Ms. Gilmore-Love is a member of the 2014 class of “Mississippi’s 50 Leading Business Women” and is a Class of 2010 member of Leadership Greater Jackson. She is also the 2009 Volunteer of the year for the City of Ridgeland Chamber of Commerce.

She is a mother of three and an active member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority.
