Leader, Advocate, & Educator: LaTricia is the CEO of NABOEI (National Administrative Board of Educational Interventions) a consulting and community advocacy firm serving businesses, organizations, and individuals in Missouri, Chicago, & Atlanta to improve all facets of educational relations. Working with different agencies and not- for -profits, LaTricia understands the full spectrum both personally and professionally as to what it takes to fully advocate and serve regarding varying aspects of the law through education to empower.

LaTricia received her Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice Law-Enforcement with Minor in Psychology from the University of Missouri-St. Louis, Master’s Degree in Criminal Justice Administration- from Lindenwood University, Educational Specialist degree in Instructional Leadership from Lindenwood University and will soon be completing her Masters in Administration and her Doctorate in Education Administration. LaTricia also serves as the Instructional Coach for a local high school, (the growing and dynamic) Normandy Schools Collaborative and as a Subject Matter Expert & Adjunct Instructor) for Vatterott Educational Centers, Inc., a local trade school teaching both Psychology & English.

LaTricia is a diverse professional and community leader. LaTricia serves on various boards and committees nationally and throughout the St. Louis Metropolitan area. A brief highlight is as follows: LaTricia is a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated-St. Louis Metropolitan Alumnae Chapter, Imani Rites of Passage and Company, NAACP-Criminal Justice & Education, W.E.B. Dubois Junior Honor Society, National Coalition of Negro Women, Sponsor of Safer Schools & Education Secondary-Post, YECP, BWCC, Keeping Kids First, Culturally Responsive Practices, At-Promised Youth Initiative, Entrepreneur Connections, Data & Assessment Teams, Diversionary Services Liaison, Empowering & Educating At-Promised Youth, Restorative Justice Liaison, When We All Vote-Team Liaison, Program & Events Consultant for national recording artist and a contributing grant writer for local organizations.

As a consummate professional and mother of four: Monique, Chauncey, Bianca and Jonathan; LaTricia continues to defy obstacles, conquer untouched territories and help change the lives of countless individuals. LaTricia continues to develop, grow, and support others to reach their total potential. LaTricia is a Social Missionary under the leadership of Bishop Barkley E. Bailey, Sr., (Diocesan Bishop for the Missouri-Southern Illinois Diocese) for the COOLJC.

Workshop: Education, Policy & Social Justice:

Topic: Education & Social Justice: Is This a Myth or Reality the School to Prison Pipeline?

Description: This workshop will examine factors, procedures, systems and norms that are aligned to the criminal justice system in education for students and in particular students of color. We will also examine why some view this lens of social justice as a myth and outline frameworks to educate and inform individuals regarding procedures and lookfors using a proactive approach. Attendees will depart with functional working knowledge to advocate and differentiate between the two schools of thought.
