Who She Is
Hardworking, Entrepreneurial, Energetic, Passionate, Ethical, and Creative are just a few words to describe Darlisa. She takes pride in delivering effective strategies with regard to business development, strategic planning, and Entrepreneurial growth. She is dedicated to rendering effective outcomes and helping individuals reach their desired goals and potentials through practical understanding and applied learning. She is seasoned in areas of leadership, stewardship, and guidance to all those of whose paths she has crossed. Darlisa believes that building solid relationships and impacting change is what she does best. Known in the business world as “The Small Business Practitioner”, Darlisa has not only been an asset to the small business world, but also an inspiration. She has assisted over 300 small businesses in the St. Louis area in the realm of Entrepreneurial Education and strategic planning. She has worked with organizations such as the Missouri Small Business Development Center (SBDC), Grace Hill Women’s Business Center, The Small Business Administration (SBA) and many other organizations to assist with Entrepreneurial growth and development in the St. Louis community. In early 2014, Darlisa started a non-profit organization called Y.E.P! (Youth Entrepreneurial Platform), where she teaches students grades 3-8 practical skills in entrepreneurship with a focus on character building, leadership, and self-respect. CHECK OUT THE YEP! She volunteers for several child advocacy organizations such as St. Vincent Home for Children, The Child Care Center, and Safe Horizon to assist in educating and empowering youth to greater outcomes. Darlisa has traveled to various states such as Dallas TX, Chicago IL, Kansas City Kansas, and Memphis TN sharing her passion for fostering entrepreneurial growth and development within our region. Darlisa Diltz is definitely recognized as a key mover and shaker in the business development world.

What She Has Done                                                                                                                                                       Darlisa has served on various advisory boards, community forums, and professional platforms. She has provided strategic insights and business development models for top organizations such as SSM Health Care, University of Missouri Extension, Grace Hill Women’s Business Center, and Missouri Small Business Development Center. She has spoken on platforms across the United States including the Chicagoland Entrepreneurial Center, Emerge Memphis, and the Center For Entrepreneurial Action in Texas. From a local standpoint, Darlisa has been a part of various conferences, workshops, seminars, and community resource efforts to enhance the entrepreneurial culture of St. Louis. She has provided sound revelation to entrepreneurial advice to audiences including the National Association of Professional Women, St. Charles County Council, St. Vincent Home for Children, The Women’s Empowerment Series, and many more. Darlisa was named Chair to the Entrepreneur and Leadership Committee for the National Black MBA Association, where she increased membership and participation by twenty-five percent through programming efforts alone. As a part of this role, she led the planning for the 2015Entrepreneur Think Tank, a signature event hosted during Global Entrepreneur Week in the St. Louis Region. This event served as one of the biggest minority entrepreneurial events in the St. Louis market.

Where She Is Headed.
Darlisa is passionate about helping business owners grow and develop their business. She continues to work with Non-Profit Organizations and Small Businesses, helping them to understand where their business currently is, where they would like to take it, and what steps are needed to achieve those goals. Through djd. InDepth Consulting Services, Darlisa creates the platform for small business owners to become the subject matter expert in the face of their clients, by allowing them the opportunity to present their business ideas and passions in the face of potential clients. Not only that, she is a strong supporter of small business connections, and is constantly seeking opportunities to connect one small business owner to another.
What’s on the horizon for Darlisa Diltz? Darlisa has been working diligently within the small business world and is looking to take that to a new level. She has spoken in several cities and among several organizations with the message of faith and entrepreneurship, and how the two work together. Darlisa is looking to expand her youth program to new markets as early as 2016, as well as participate in more professional conferences and workshops. As for the remainder of 2015, Darlisa has been chosen to represent the Entrepreneurship Committee for the National Black MBA Association, and  led the planning for their signature event The Entrepreneurial Think Tank, held in November of 2015.
